Course Objectives
- Define a variety of corporate lactation programs and wellness programs
- Identify the corporate motivation for wellness programs based on return on investment (ROI) to the corporate bottom line
- Identify the breastfeeding laws pertaining to employees in the state where each IBCLC practices
- Describe common lactation services provided by IBCLCs for corporate customers
- Identify likely business targets for initiating a corporate lactation program in their community
- Discuss methods of advertising and promoting corporation lactation services
- Present an "elevator pitch" describing their new corporate lactation program
- Discuss the process of establishing a corporate lactation program from start to finish based on role-play exercises by presenters
Course Details
- Starting at 1pm Eastern, 12pm Central, 11am Mountain, 10am Pacific
- 1.5 hour Program
- 1.5 L Cerps Awarded for participating. (Certificates will be emailed to attendees within two weeks)
